That’s a fantastic quote and really resonates with me. At 54, I feel like I’m in a kind of half-way house: still (despite my best efforts) a little regretful about the increasing sagging of my jawline (and many other bits of me…). Still young enough to ‘pass’ as younger and so still tempted to try and do so.
I’ve loved all the birthdays so far with a zero in them, and I’m sure 60 will be no different.
Have you read the book “Elderwoman” by Marian Van Eyk McCain? I can thoroughly recommend it.
